1 Installation
please refer to the installation material, especially the requirements (win7, Excel 2003|2010), 2GB of RAM and 5 GB of free Hard-disk. There are two ways to install it. If the described method fails, come to my office to borrow a DVD.
klick Start-> and put in the white box (search programs and files) \\131.130.97.117
a window with the share is displayed.
copy the database folder compustat_data_yyyy-mm-dd from the share onto your PC (drag 'n drop)
copy the installation_folder to your PC as well.
open the zip file in the installation folder to start the installation process.

select your local folder where you have put your databases in the previous step, for "Global Research".

Startup Database "Global Vantage"
